Local Government Procurement Pty Ltd (LGP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Local Government and Shires Associations of New South Wales (LGSA).
LGP has been prescribed under s55 of the Local Government Act, allowing councils to utilise supply arrangements coordinated by LGP without the need to go to tender in their own right.
LGP therefore has the same status as the NSW Department of Services, Technology and Administration (DSTA) - NSW Procurement in having this legislative requirement.
